How do you play AEGIS?
Each player builds a team of five combining robots, then they battle against each other in 2, 4, or 6-player games – or fight a boss in solo mode!
Teams share resources and combine together! Each of your five robots gives you an array of options, and there are over 200 to choose from!
The Five Classes of Fighting Robots
Get up-close and personal with Assault-types, swoop in fast with Evasive ‘bots, bunker down and wear out your opponents with Guards, lock on and cause chaos with Intel types, or heal your team and fire lasers with Support-types!
Every robot has a standee that you move around the board and a card that tells you what it does.
Tactical, Hex Grid-Based Combat
Your team’s 5 robots share energy with each other. Each time one of your robots moves or attacks, it’ll cost energy from the team’s shared pool. You’ll have to manage your resources well to win!
What’s that about “Combining?”
The robots on your team can combine together mid-game into bigger, more powerful forms! This lets you both recover and change your strategy!
Do you stay separated and flank your opponent? Combine and go in for a decisive attack? The choice is yours!

Each core AEGIS box comes with 100 unique robots to use! That’s millions of different team combinations!
To get you started, all these bots pre-sorted into preconstructed teams, making it easy to jump right in. Then, once you’re a veteran robot commander, you can create your own fighting forces, go into Draft mode, and much more!
All this cool stuff is kept locked tight in a great organizer tray that accommodates all 128 cards, sleeved, with numerous slots to keep your robot pieces well-sorted.
Suitable for Beginners and Seasoned Strategists Alike
The game is all single digit numbers and 6-sided dice, and each game takes only 15-25 minutes to complete, so you can play multiple times with your friends in a single sitting. It’s made to be a more accessible version of games like Warmachine and BattleTech while retaining the intense strategy involved in those games.
