AEGIS 2 Kickstarter Date Announcement
It’s almost 2023!
Where did the time go?
This year saw us return to a few conventions: PAX East, West, ECCC, Gen Con, and soon – YoumaCon and PAX Unplugged. We met many new friends, showed off a progressively more finished AEGIS: Second Ignition (AEGIS2) and got the rest of the project ready on our end (Video, KS Page, Prototypes, etc).
We also meant to launch our Kickstarter for it in Q1 this year, but that obviously didn’t happen.
No more delays and excuses though, because our new Kickstarter is launching …
Less than 90 days away. The clock’s already ticking! I’m sure you have questions, though:
WHY NOT NOW?
tldr; we don’t want to fight the impending holidays. If we launched tomorrow, we’d go right into Thanksgiving, and anything later competes with Christmas shopping. We want the campaign to do well, so mid-January is a great time. Plan your finances, pocket your Christmas money!
What’s happening in the meantime?
Lots!! We plan on entertaining you and ourselves plenty over the next 90 days. Our schedule’s filled with:
- Getting AEGIS2’s prototypes in the hands of more media folks
- Polishing the games so we can deliver before Fall next year
- Updating the TabletopSim mod (long overdue)
- We’ve begun development on AEGIS2’s Scenario Book! It has a campaign mode!
- And we have a ton of playtest and community streams that you’re invited to!!
