NEW! AEGIS on Steam is REMASTERED!

It’s been a long time since we originally put AEGIS up on Tabletop Simulator, and we’ve been updating it ever since with new promo cards and quality of life fixes. Given the current state of the world, this online version of the game has been the main method for AEGIS players to connect and play with one another.

However, just by the game and TabletopSim’s respective natures, it’s always been a little clunky. NO MORE! An amazing community member by the name of OgreYama has been working to revamp the whole thing this past month with all manner of new features that make AEGIS much easier to set up and dive into.

Cool New Features!

The first thing you see when you start the demo is this – With a couple clicks, everything is placed for you!

Let’s break down the new features:

  • AUTOMATED SET UP: When you open AEGIS on TTS, you can now set up a 2, 4 or 6 players game with the press of a button! Doing so will spawn player tableaus and the board immediately.
  • AUTOMATED PIECE SPAWNING: No more digging through bags! Now, whenever you place a card on your tableau, it will spawn the piece automatically.
  • INTEGRITY TRACKERS: Placing a robot card on your board will also spawn an HP tracker for the robot, already set on the robot’s starting Integrity. No more using dice and counters!
  • PREBUILT TEAMS!! This TTS version also features 13 prebuilt teams that spawn on your player tableau at the press of a button! Each one has 5 bots, 2 extras and 3-4 combines, and are labeled by complexity! If you’re new or getting back into to the game, these are great for getting into it quickly.
  • AUTOMATED DRAFT!! The coolest and more complex new feature! You can play AEGIS’s Draft mode by selecting it at set up. This will separate all the relevant cards and deal them out to players properly, then you just do the drafting part and play!
    • Cards dealt to you are sent to a bag in front of you, so they remain secret to the other players.
    • This functions for 4 and 6 player drafts!
  • RULE BOOK! The rule book is actually in the TTSim version as an interactive object! No more janky virtual iPad.

Note that all of the above features only function if you are seated at the table in front of your player tableau.

Play in the AEGIS Fall League!

This new demo comes at a great time, since we’re kicking off a new AEGIS League! AEGIS Leagues are great because you simply play AEGIS at your leisure, report your games, and you show up on the leaderboard! At the end of each League seasons, all participants receive a special exclusive promo.

This season that promo is… the GOBL-Infinity! A special, new Thanksgiving-themed, AEGIS-Class robot with art by Eric Streed of Witchway games! All players who have at least three games logged in the AEGIS Fall League will get one of these cards mailed to them!
