Here’s a quick reminder of the combatants and if you’d like to check out their team builds, they can be found here. Now onto the results!
Goji played TD260 in a spectacular display of…..LASERS! Play of the game involved Goji strategically combining into the AROZ-6000 behind cover. TD260 countered with SNO-6000 bravely trekking across the map as the AROZ shot laser after laser in an attempt to stop it. The SNO made it, and hit the AROZ where it hurt! Not out yet, Goji combined the AROZ into the ENDER-IDA for a brawl of epic proportions! When the dust settled, the ENDER-IDA stood triumphant! Goji won!
Next up, epicimpulse vs Brifox, current vs previous world champ! This was a close match, neither side folding under pressure. In the end, epic and Diane’s ARM-777 were victorious!
123jrf got the bye this round, check out his team and strategy in Round 2!
Veteran players CAnon and Texaport were up next! Game 2 was close CAnon’s ENDER-100 was at 1 HP for most of the round due to Texaport’s IDA-400. The little bot stunned and attacked disrupting CAnon’s plays until the robot fell. CAnon won the round!
Last game this round, Cybermage vs HeyJoeLang playing rival commanders Etwal and Gamound. Cybermage advanced Etwal and the team forward, using the ABB-200 to move up the SAUR-100. Not taking any chances, HeyJoeLang used some fancy tactics to combine into the GET-1000 and Cybermage combined into the ESHA-1000 to counteract some damage. Robots battled back and forth; EXCEL takes some damage and combines into the GAN-2000. HeyJoeLang used the GMD-100 to push the GAN-2000 into a wall, resulting in Cybermage combining into the EXCEL-GAN. HeyJoeLang uses the full force of his team to shoot at EXCEL-GAN! The GO almost pushes it off the board, but the EXCEL-GAN rushes back and finishes it off. In the end, Cybermage wins the round!
That’s it for Round 1, stay tuned for the results of Round 2 in another week!
Fight and Unite!
