A.E.G.I.S. is heading back to Gen Con for the second year! Not only that, but with new, near-final game assets – a culmination of months of work. We were initially supposed to launch our Kickstarter campaign at the end of 2015, but the wild success of Folklore: The Affliction pushed us back a bit. In the meantime, we went and redid all of the graphic design in the game, as well as adding more game modes, rebalancing, and a million other things.
We’re located in a prime spot on the show floor this year, and not only that, we also have more booked events than any other Greenbrier Games title, with 8 90-minute game-play events spread across the weekend.
Let’s take a look at the map:
Gen Con is the most insane convention we’ve ever been to. The show floor alone is enormous, and ever booth is awesome. Couple that with a free-play section that’s the same size or bigger, and you have more gaming than can handle. It’s also simultaneously really chill and quiet, despite the 60,000 people flipping cards and rolling dice. It’s also cozy and carpeted all around — no dingy warehouse.
We’re also next to some of the coolest people. Ever heard of Boss Monster and Exploding Kittens? We’re right between them! Also fitting that we’re right next to Battletech.
If you’re heading over to Indianapolis, make sure to swing by and see A.E.G.I.S. in its fabulous final form before we Kickstart later this year.
And one more thing: There will be special promo cards with art by Black Isle Studios’ Stephen Gibson!
