Take 5: September Never Ends

The A.E.G.I.S. Kickstarter has gone from very close to slightly further away, but things are still extremely busy here at Zephyr Workshop! We’ve done a lot of rebalancing across our suite of robots, and now we’re onto planning expansion content and getting some great art commissioned.

With that, here are the top five news bits for September 2015!

a-logoIn our first bit of news, the A.E.G.I.S. Kickstarter has been pushed back. The new Kickstarter date will coincide with the 3rd anniversary of AEGIS! The main reasons are production and publishing matters, but we’re currently very busy testing out new game modes, new robots, and revisions to old favorites. It also gives us more time to push our art and graphic design further. A.E.G.I.S. is a needy, huge game and we’re going to only give you the best. We’d like to thank everyone for their support so far, and their patience with the Kickstarter, we can’t wait to show you some of the stuff we’ve been working on!

TopatoconWe had a great time at Topatocon 2015 in Easthampton, it was wonderful meeting so many developers and tabletop fans alike! If you stopped by the labyrinth of gaming, you might have seen us sharing the giant robot demo table with the awesome folks from Mobile Frame Zero and Joshua AC Newman!

AEGIS BFIGSpeaking of conventions, AEGIS was also at the Boston Festival of Indie Games on September 12th! We saw a bunch of new and old faces and had a fantastic time. We were also demoing Yashima, a fantastic hex based martial arts fighter also published by Greenbrier Games! A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and to our wonderful interns Zach, RJ, and Marc!  Without them BFIG wouldn’t have went so smoothly!

WEMF RadioIf you tuned into WEMF Radio on the October 5th, you might have heard our Lead Designer Breeze and our PR Manager Ryan Richford on the Geek Down Radio Show! We had a great time being interviewed and demoing with Pat Bordendave!

We’ll also be on Beyond the Horizon Radio on October 17th!

s-logoFinally, AEGIS’ search for artists continues! We put out the call in mid-August and we’ve received responses from several incredibly talented character artists, but we’re still on the hunt for an environmental artist to create art for the AEGIS game board!

If you or anyone you know are interested in learning more, please shoot us an email at zephyrworkshop@gmail.com
and put “Art” in the subject line.

We’re still hard at work making AEGIS the best game it can be. Be sure to tune in to Beyond the Horizon Radio on the 17th, and check out the Kickstarter for Folklore, a Dark Fantasy RPG board game also published by Greenbrier Games!
