Double the Fun: PAX East 2015!

PAX EAST 2015! It’s quickly approaching!  We hope you’re ready; we are!  Make sure you all plan accordingly when traveling to Boston, as Snowpolcaypse 2015 hit the city hard and parking is scarce!  The MBTA is also in rough shape, so there could be delays.  Good luck!

Two Booths!

We’ll be demoing A.E.G.I.S. at PAX East in two locations!  The first one we’ve been at before…the INDIE MEGABOOTH!  We’re the only board game returning to the Megabooth from last year!  There are images attached so you can see where we’ll be located.  Come learn about the game, talk to the creators, play a demo, and hear the gospel of GIANT COMBINING ROBOTS!  We’d also like to say a special thanks to Cards Against Humanity for sponsoring this section again this year!

Our other location is on the main tabletop floor, partnering with Greenbrier Games! They’re the creators of Zpocalypse and publishers of Ninja Dice and Hull Breach, come check all of us out!  We’ll be in the table top free play area near them, so find their booth and you can find us!  Stop by and say hello to our awesome demo team who will be running the games all weekend!  Our powerhouse demo team consists of Marc McCrevan, Jonah Sanville, Alexander Gray (who’s running Kickstarter right now!), Zachary Kettell, and Maysarah Shahabuddin!

Two Panels! And More!

Two of our very own designers, Breeze Grigas and Sarah Como are speaking in panels!  The first panel is called, “Do you have what it takes to Publish an Indie Board Game?”  Learn how to, tips, and tricks to talk to publishers, self publish, and hear our war stories of board game development.  This will be located in the Cuttlefish Theater at 4:30 pm on Friday.

The second panel is called “Full Time Student, Part Time Indie.”  Here learn the steps we took to grow from student game designers to Indies!  We’ll cover how to be successful in school, how to look for jobs while still in school, internships, networking, and many other things.  This panel is also in the Cuttlefish Theater, 4:30 Sunday.

Our friends who are part of the super awesome Game Makers Guild are also speaking on panels.  Learn about the importance of constructive feedback while creating your game in “Your Game is Broken: Giving and Getting Useful Feedback” in the Arachnid Theater Friday at 3:30 pm.

There’s a panel on creating a board game in “Birthing Your Board Game: From Conception to Maturity” in the Arachnid Theater Friday at 6:30 pm (you can catch it after our panel!)

Finally you can learn about good (and bad) Board Game design in “Good Game; Bad Game” this panel is in the Cuttlefish Theater 9 pm on Saturday.
